Today is the big reveal for the fun event sponsored by Tracy Statler of Make Bracelets Blog. With the hippest look this season being wrap bracelets, stacked bracelets and bangles I decided to join in on the fun. The rules were to have made at least one-two bracelets in the arrangement. Since my daughter and I love this look and have been stacking bracelets for awhile we put together several looks to share with you today.
"Bohemian Chic" - all of this group except for the wooden bangle was made by me. Bracelets from top down: 1. multi strand seed bead and cotton cording bracelet inspired by Erin Siegel; 2. a nautical knotted cotton cord bracelet; 3. a beaded bracelet using large turquoise, 4. natural stones and sterling silver; 5. leather and howalite wrap bracelet; 6. a purchased wooden bangle.
Lastly, "Eclectic Au Courant" is a fancy name my daughter Baille came up with. This mix includes a 1. hand forged copper cuff made by my daughter Baille in her first jewelry class at Savannah College of Art and Design, 2. her favorite nautical cotton bracelet purchased many years ago that needs a good washing but she won't let me because she likes the character it has this way, 3. a handmade multi strand bracelet using wooden beads, leather and chain; 4. a purchased wooden bangle; 5. a tortoise Michael Kors watch.
Credits for all these pictures go to my daughter, Baille. She also is the lovely arm model in these photos (you really don't want to see my arm in these pics).
This was a collaborative effort between Baille and me. We had so much fun putting these together. I hope that there are other arm parties in the future. Thanks to Stacy for putting this together.
Here's the link to the other blogs that are participating. Take a look and enjoy.
