Art Bead Earring Swap Reveal

Hi there, I've been absent from my blog for  awhile.  May was a very busy month and I was out of town for most of the month  I did however squeeze in an earring swap that was sponsored by Diana Ptaszynski  of Suburban Girl Studio.

My partners in this swap were Shannon Hicks of Uptwnshfallingintothesky.blogspot and Jenny Davies-Reazor of  The earrings were to include art beads and sterling silver ear wires.  Between my travels, I sent off the earrings to my partners.

Since I do not make art beads I purchased ceramic beads for my earrings from Natalie Pappas of NKP Beads on Etsy.  Both pairs of earrings featured beads from Natalie and were navy blue.

Here is what I sent to my two partners.  It was a little intimidating since this was my first swap and without knowing the style of each of the partners.  I went with a very simplistic design.

Once I finally got home from my travels, I had my two packages to open.  Here is what I received from my two partners.

The first pair of earrings were the earrings from Shannon Hicks.  Her earrings featured cute little lampwork owls and very ornate wire wrapping in my favorite color - Red

by Shannon Hicks

The second pair came from Jenny Davies-Reazor and featured some of Jenny's own enamel beads in a gorgeous teal/green.

Thanks again to my earring swap partners for such lovely earrings.  Thanks to
Diana Ptaszynski for sponsoring this fun swap.

Now on to the other blogs to see what the other swap partners received.  Thanks for visiting today.

  1. I understand how you feel - I was paired with two awesome artists as well! But the earrings you sent were gorgeous! And the earrings you received were equally gorgeous! The wirework on the first pair is amazing! And I love Jenny's enameled beads! Enjoy!

  2. Good morning partner! I hope you do like, and wear your earrings. There is a chance the studio pixies swapped the package and I meant to send you red. But maybe things happen for a reason, and you can rock the green pair for a pop of complementary color!. I love my spiral earrings, and the ceramic beads you chose! Thanks ever so much!

  3. They're beautiful, the little owls in wire trees are so much fun, and the enamelled ones are really classic! I would have been happy to receive either of the ones you created too!

  4. Wonderful job on your earrings! Thanks so much for joining in the swap!
